Milan have raised their offer to sign Charles De Ketelaere and according to multiple reports in Italy, the Rossoneri are ‘discussing details’ with Club Brugge.

The 21-year-old is Milan’s priority target to strengthen their attack in 2022-23. Brugge rejected their opening €20m bid, but the Serie A champions have reportedly made an improved offer matching Leeds’ €30m proposal.

Calciomercato.com and La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the two clubs are now discussing the details of the deal.

Transfer expert Carlo Laudisa claims the two clubs are discussing the bonuses as Milan’s offer is in line with Brugge’s expectations.

The player has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri and his entourage is only waiting for a call to fly to Milan and undergo his medical with the Serie A champions.

Daniele Longo says Milan are confident about completing the attacking midfielder’s signing.

The Belgium international didn’t take part in a friendly against FC Copenhagen last weekend, suggesting that a transfer is on the cards.

  1. He’s highly rated, i havent seen the guy play but 20m euros is way too low, gotta match leeds 30m euro offer

  2. As things looks, if this happens, it look like he will be the only signing or else they wanna go get a borrowed player from Lecce or Empoli as usual, and next season scudetto, we wont be able to win it even in the dream. But the account will be healthy and everybody will be happy as that is what important to the owner.

  3. @ Ralph I’ll be happy if we keep the core players because the core players make up the team that I support. The TEAM. I don’t support a “brand”. I support a TEAM and a TEAM consists of players. Players that I was cheering on last season. If the players keep changing then it’s a different TEAM. A player I was cheering on last season (like Romagnoli) I am no longer cheering on this season. If this happens too much what is the point? What is the point of modern football if fans are only interested in what happens on the transfer market?

Forget about the bloody transfer market.

  4. It seems the almost negotiations concerning top level football are nowadays a veritable odissey… or maybe a silly soap opera. Even with the big money sides is like that, indeed. But anyway, I guess CDK will end with us.

  5. @Maildinis Heir: you are a bit too extreme. Better support a local amateur team in your neighborhood, that would be almost unchanged over the years. But here we are talking about professional sport, with trophies to WIN (to win i repeat, not just to cheer for its own sake)

  6. Like Mohammed said, never seen him play but he sure is highly rated. If he wants to play for a young, hungry, competitive Milan team, he will. If that’s not important, he’ll struggle in a Leeds team that are about to lose its best player. Having already lost its 2nd best player.

  7. I think @Ralph is right for the most part.

I’m pretty sure that after CDK (if it happens) Milan will sign one other player permanently and that’s a midfielder to replace Kessié. Maybe Sanches or another similar player using the rest of the budget and money raised by player sales.

Then we probably sign a center-back on l.o.a.n and maybe, maybe a right winger like Ziyech on l.o.a.n too if the opportunity arrives. Otherwise we go into the season with Messias and Saelemaekers again.

That’s it. Not a great transfer window but not bad either. The core is solid.

  8. That article is a late, Milan already offered 30 million to ,Brudge declined it today .The asking price is around 35 million.

  9. Reality is we need a solid CAM, we have the horses in house to fill the CB position , just need cover for injury. The big question is will we be looking at Pobega to back fill the hole left by Kessie ? If so and it works, could be a game changer with a new CAM, takes some of the work off the wings and CDM’s . CDM’s can support CB’s more , its truly a dynamic fluid situation.
    Forza Milan !

  10. We have a solid team, y’all right in a way, if CDK comes we’d be lucky to sign another player but i have to say, our business in the market is off on another level. To sign CDK for 30 and Sanches for 10 wow!

  11. I have to admit I would rather read about the players we have got. I have watched quite a bit of CDK is the last 2 seasons and let me tell you he is a top player. He could go on to be as good as Leao. I also believe he will flourish in our current squad. When all is said and done it’s more important to me and any fan with half a brain to keep our best players. And any 1 who says we can’t win next season is a fool.

  12. Hit the 35 mil target. Redbird promised 100 mil for transfer fees and we haven’t spent anything. If this is the target and Maldini believes in him then pay it. Then work on backfilling or a rare gem near the end of the window. Also get Leao’s contract worked out. Its late in the window to lose him and replace with a left winger.

  13. I’m just sick of all this moaning and speculating. One thing that makes me fairly relaxed is that Maldini & Co have generally maintained a degree of stability in the squad and the signings they have made have generally worked. But I just can’t wait for the window to end so we can get Beck tk football.
