The 23-year-old trequartista has been an absolute revelation this season following his move from Chateauroux.

He has played in a number of positions in Gialloblu, showing a highly regarded versatility in midfield.

La Gazzetta understands Chievo value the Guinea international at between €4m and €5m.

Milan are said to be very keen on Constant, but Inter apparently have the edge.

The Nerazzurri have very good ties with Chievo and could also collaborate with Genoa, offering to co-own the player.

Inter's new boss Leonardo is a big admirer of Constant, although he'll have to wait until the New Year to open negotiations as Chievo's director of sport Giovanni Sartori is currently out of the country.

Reached by telephone, Sartori said: "He is 99 per cent not moving from here. There have been several offers.

"The only solution is that they buy him in January and leave him with us until June."
