Milan left-back Theo Hernandez faces potential legal charges after reports his pit bull killed another dog.

According to Il Giornale di Olgiate, Theo Hernandez had the garden gate open to let a car in when the pit bull escaped.

A neighbour was walking her dog nearby and the pit bull attacked, killing the passing pinscher dog and knocking the 73-year-old woman to the ground.

She tried desperately to save the little dog by throwing it onto the roof of a nearby parked car, but it’s reported the pit bull dragged it down by the leash.

If this story is confirmed, then Theo Hernandez could face charges for negligence and losing control of a dangerous dog.

The incident occurred on Friday February 18 at circa 14.00 local time, when Theo Hernandez was not present.

His partner Zoe Cristofoli is expecting their first baby together.

France international Theo Hernandez just signed a new contract with Milan until June 2026.

  1. Answer to Milan Fan

Unfortunately pitbulls will be like that when Milanistas cant take care of the breed.

    Regards from an Interista.

  2. Unless the city orthe Region of Lombardy has a pit bull ban like some jurisdictions, I don’t see how charges are possible.

  3. Sad story, but hopefully one that won’t affect Theo’s focus on football.

But no, pitbulls are not inherently aggressive, but they tend to feed off the owners mentality… It poses the question if hugely competitive people, like football players are really suited to be dog-parents, especially when you factor in their many travel days throughout the season..

  4. Brandon… “I don’t see how charges are possible”… if a dog attacks and kills another persons dog. The owner of that dog is responsible for damages and any injury it may have caused the other owner in the process. He will certainly face charges.
