Milan defender Fodé Ballo-Touré has tested positive for COVID-19 while on international duty with Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The news was confirmed via a statement from the Senegalese Football Federation.
The PCR test was performed on January 12, 48 hours before their game against Guinea, but the result was only announced today.
Ballo-Toure and Idrissa Gana Gueye have both tested positive for COVID-19.
The 25-year-old left-back joined Milan for €5m from AS Monaco in the summer of 2021.
He came up through the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy, progressing to Lille before his €11m transfer to Monaco in January 2019.
Ballo-Toure made 11 competitive appearances for the Rossoneri this season between Serie A and the Champions League.
