Milan have left injured Andrea Conti and Ivan Strinic out of the squad list for the Europa League group stage, but include Riccardo Montolivo.

The Rossoneri are in the same group as Real Betis, Olympiacos and Dudelange.

Right-back Conti joined the club from Atalanta for €24m in July 2017, but has made only five competitive appearances for the club.

He tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in September 2017 and required another operation in April 2018.

Strinic was a free agent from Sampdoria this summer, but was diagnosed with heart irregularities and has to stop activity for several weeks pending further tests.

Montolivo is included in the squad list, despite apparently not being part of Gennaro Gattuso’s plans.

Gianluigi Donnarumma, Patrick Cutrone and third choice goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari can feature on the B List because they came up through the Milan youth academy.
