Milan could use captain Davide Calabria in a part-exchange deal with Roma to bring in Tammy Abraham, as Emerson Royal from Tottenham can be their new right-back.

The Rossoneri are still working on reinforcements for the summer after bringing in Alvaro Morata and defender Strahinja Pavlovic.

Multiple sources have stated that their first choice for the attack is Abraham, requested by new coach Paulo Fonseca and pushed down the pecking order at Roma by Artem Dovbyk.

Calabria key for Abraham

According to Sport Mediaset and Tuttomercatoweb, a key to the deal could be including Calabria in exchange, as Daniele De Rossi would prefer him to Luka Jovic.

Although the Italian is the captain of Milan, he would also likely see his role at the club diminished by the imminent arrival of Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur.

They are expected to secure him for €15m plus bonuses, with a medical even as early as this weekend.

  1. AC MILAN used to be a club full of Italian LEGENDS now they don’t even feature any Italian players….bravo.

  2. I”ve been milanista since I was 10yo, but it’s time to finally say goodbye to this clown club. Vattene Ibra, vattene Cardinale …. arrivederci, Milan.

  3. Agree with you guys, now going to represent no Italians in the starting 11. So much for being called an Italian club. There always used to be a core of Italian players with a few foreign players but good ones at least. Not this current crop of average players. Inter used to be like this but now it’s Milan.

  4. @carlo all thanks to the brilliance of Marotta. Ever since he came, Inter has become dominant in Serie A. While Milan’s current owners are clueless. I forgot who it was, but some Milan fan wrote appointing Ibrahimovic is one of the biggest mistakes.
