Milan are reportedly interested in Genoa's Diego Laxalt, and could offer Andrea Bertolacci to lower the price.

The Rossoneri are expected to sign Ivan Strinic from Sampdoria in the summer, but sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli is also working on other deals.

According to Tuttosport, the Diavolo are interested in bringing Laxalt to San Siro, as they’re impressed by his work rate and versatility.

The Grifone would demand at least €10m, but Milan have two bargaining chips in the shape of Bertolacci and Gianluca Lapadula.

The Grifone would demand at least €10m, but Milan have two bargaining chips in the shape of Bertolacci and Gianluca Lapadula.

The latter is on loan with Genoa, who are obliged to sign him outright at the end of the season for a reported €11m.

If it would help get a deal for Laxalt done, the Rossoneri could offer a discount on that fee, effectively subtracting it from their offer for the Uruguayan.

Bertolacci is also on loan at Marassi, though with no option to buy, and he could also be offered permanently at a cut price.
