If necessary, Milan could reportedly call Yacine Adli back from his loan at Girondins de Bordeaux in January.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Rossoneri are considering reviewing the agreement between the two clubs, as Adli continues to impress in Ligue 1.

Milan signed the player for €8m plus up to €2m in performance-related bonuses, but sent the player back to Bordeaux on loan until the end of the season.

Adli: ‘When Maldini and Milan call…’

Adli, who revealed it was impossible to turn down a call from Paolo Maldini, could arrive at Milanello earlier than initially expected.

The 21-year-old has played 13 Ligue 1 games, scoring one goal and contributed three assists in the process.

He was sent back to Bordeaux to gain experience and regular playing time, but the newspaper claims Milan are considering reviewing the agreement with the Ligue 1 side.

If he’s needed at San Siro for the second half of the campaign, Milan might want to bring him to Italy already in January.

  1. Let him finish his season in Ligue 1 and then have him in the summer for pre-season and trainings so he can fit in properly.

We probably won’t even need another midfielder even if Kessie leaves in January, as we have one foot out of Europe already.
