Milan have reportedly been in contact with Massimiliano Allegri to explore his possible appointment following his contract termination with Juventus.

The 56-year-old Italian tactician left the Old Lady in rather dramatic circumstances last month, being sacked less than 48 hours after guiding the club to their 15th Coppa Italia title with a win over Atalanta in the final.

Allegri was furious on the touchlines of the Stadio Olimpico and after being shown a red card, he stormed down the tunnel, where he verbally attacked Tuttosport editor-in-chief Guido Vaciago before damaging a LaPresse photo area.

Milan contact Allegri

Rai Sport alleges that Milan have been in contact with Allegri to explore the idea of a possible appointment, despite the heavy assumption that Paulo Fonseca would take over in the dugout after Stefano Pioli’s exit.

The 56-year-old coach is able to take on a new job after agreeing a mutual contract termination with Juventus, closing the door on possible legal action against the club.

  1. They are either masters of deception and secrecy, or they have absolutely no plan whatsoever at Milanello

  2. Again I have to ask is this fake news? Are the management of some teams really run in such a clownish manner?
