Milan consider offer for Veliz as Nottingham Forest emerge

Milan recently met with Alejo Veliz’s entourage and are now thinking about sending an offer, facing competition from Nottingham Forest, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

The Rossoneri have been incredibly active in the summer transfer window and are currently working on completing two separate deals – the sale of Ante Rebic to Besiktas and the purchase of Yunus Musah from Valencia.

Milan have already signed seven players in the summer transfer window, picking up Samuel Chukwueze, Noah Okafor, Tijjani Reijnders, Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero and Marco Sportiello.

As reported by Di Marzio, the first meeting between Veliz’s entourage and Milan’s directors took place a few days ago, where the club confirmed their interest in the Rosario talent.

The Rossoneri are now seriously considering presenting their first offer for the 19-year-old centre forward, who has a €15m asking price, the same amount as his release clause.

Milan aren’t the only team interested in Veliz, however, as Nottingham Forest have now emerged to open talks for the striker.
