Milan have suggested that they could decide to sign Barcelona-owned Bojan Krkic outright at the end of the season.
“We see a player in Bojan who is very useful for his quality and vision,” President Silvio Berlusconi noted. “I think he can stay with us.”
The 22-year-old is on loan at San Siro after Roma handed him over in the summer half-way through their two-year deal with the Spanish giants.
The forward has struggled to make an impression with the Diavolo this term after netting just three goals in 25 games.
Last week, Bojan claimed that his problems this term are down to the fact that he’s not owned by the Rossoneri.
“I am a victim of being on loan,” he told AS ahead of the 2-0 Champions League win against Barca. “The Milan players who have cost millions to sign are those who should start.
“This is normal. For that reason, for next season my intention is that wherever I am, I will not be there on loan.
“Back to Barca? If it is possible then yes, of course. I left for two years and after the adventure in Rome I am now here. We will see what happens. There are still many things that must happen.”
