According to Tuttosport, Milan are interested in Torino’s Nicolas Nkoulou and Soualiho Meité in January although their big target for the next season is the Granata captain Andrea Belotti.

Milan had already tried to sign the Italy international back in 2017 when their former sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli offered €60m to secure the player’s services.

Torino turned the offer down, insisting Belotti could only leave for his €100m release clause even if, on paper, it could only be activated by foreign clubs.

With Belotti's contract expiring in June 2022, however, Milan can have one more chance to sign the 27-year-old next summer.

The Rossoneri are considering two more Torino players for January. According to the Turin-based paper, Both Nicolas Nkoulou and Soualiho Meité are being monitored by the Diavoli and are concrete transfer targets for January.

Kouadio Koné, who was considered a top Rossoneri target in the winter transfer window, is on the verge of joining Borussia Monchengladbach, while talks for Mohamed Simakan are stalling.
