Milan have released a statement confirming Jeremy Menez’s transfer to Bordeaux.
The French club confirmed earlier today that they had signed the Rossoneri forward, and now the selling club have also confirmed the transfer.
“AC Milan announces that it has sold Jeremy Menez outright to FC Girondins de Bordeaux,” a statement on the Diavolo’s official website reads.
“The club would like to thank Jeremy for these two seasons in Rossonero, and wishes him the best for the rest of his career.”
Menez joined the Rossoneri from Paris Saint-Germain in June 2014, and scored 16 goals in his first season at San Siro.
However, a back injury limited his contribution last term, though the French international still scored four goals in 12 appearances across all competitions.
Menez previously spent three seasons with Roma, leaving the Giallorossi for €8m when he joined PSG in 2011.
