Milan have confirmed that they have signed former Cagliari goalkeeper Michael Agazzi on a three-year contract.
The 29-year-old was heavily reported in January as having reached agreement to join the Rossoneri on a Bosman deal this summer, and the club have now confirmed his capture.
“Milan announce that it has acquired Michael Agazzi, who has signed a contract until June 30,2017,” Milan’s brief statement released on Thursday reads.
Agazzi’s arrival comes the day after Christian Abbiati was confirmed as having agreed to a new one-year extension with the Rossoneri.
During last season, Agazzi was frozen out at Cagliari as it became clear he would not be renewing and he spent the final six months of the season at Chievo.
