The Rossoneri believe that Abbiati will fully recover in around 10-15 days unless complications arise during his rehabilitation.

Italian World Cup winner Marco Amelia will keep his place in goal when Milan play his former club Genoa on Friday.

Abbiati, 34, had appeared in all of the club’s League games this term up until the San Siro clash against the Flying Donkeys.
