Christian Pulisic was forced to come off in the final minutes of Milan’s Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain, but the club are confident he’ll be back to action soon.

The 25-year-old American winger, who has been one of the Rossoneri’s brighter sparks this term, played 92 minutes of the European encounter with PSG before coming off with an apparent muscle injury, concerning supporters.

Pulisic did not play in Milan’s league match prior to their Champions League commitment, missing the loss to Udinese due to a thigh injury, prompting fears that he could again be sent to the sidelines during a crucial stage of the season.

As reported by Sky Sports Italia, early indications suggest that Pulisic has only suffered from muscle fatigue, a minor issue that should allow him to join the squad for their league clash with Lecce on Saturday.

The American winger will undergo a round of tests at Milanello in the coming hours to confirm the issue and start his recovery process.
