Milan have reportedly opened talks with Monaco for exciting youth prospect Mamadou Coulibaly, who has been compared to Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga.

The Rossoneri are always on the lookout for the brightest young talents in Europe and they’re trying to replicate the work that saw them sign Pierre Kalulu for €450,000, turning him into a player worth €20m.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have opened initial contacts with Monaco for Coulibaly, who can be signed on a free transfer in the summer. The French teenager has not signed a professional contract with the club and so only a training fee would need to be paid.

The Rossoneri are facing tough competition however, as both Tottenham and Manchester City are also closely following the 17-year-old midfielder.

Milan’s consistent usage of youth players could prove to be the difference maker though, as it’s clear that there’s opportunities for bright talents to shine in the Lombardy capital.
