Reports in France suggest both Inter and Milan could move for Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho in January.

The centre-back has been frozen out of the squad by manager Jurgen Klopp, and is widely expected to move on in January.

According to Le Parisien, former Roma Coach Rudi Garcia is keen to bring Sakho to Marseille, but the defender doesn’t see himself returning to Ligue 1.

In addition, the 26-year-old is a Paris Saint-Germain youth product and a PSG supporter, so he’s unlikely to be warmly received at Stade Velodrome.

The newspaper states that Sakho had four offers in the summer, from Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.

However, the French international was hoping for more upscale Premier League clubs, and didn’t want to move to Turkey.

Le Parisien believes that both Inter and Milan also made enquiries in the summer, and could return for Sakho in January.

The centre-back would be more likely to accept a move to San Siro, and it’s unlikely Liverpool would stand in his way.
