The Nerazzurri have already been sanctioned by European football’s governing body, and were required to have no break-even deficit for 2017.

The accounts have already been submitted, and Corriere della Sera reports that UEFA will meet with club officials today to discuss the accounts.

It’s thought Inter are confident of the accounts passing, as they are permitted to write off certain things such as youth and women’s teams and infrastructure.

The Beneamata were fined €20m for failing to meet previous conditions, but €14m of that was suspended, providing they could meet certain targets.

It appears those targets have been met, and there will be no new fine for the club, but the verdict won’t arrive until late May or early June.

Inter will now have to work on breaking even for this season, meaning they’ll have to make sales in June, with any transfer incomings likely to wait until July.

Tomorrow, the newspaper reports, Milan will meet with UEFA to discuss their own FFP issues, having had a voluntary agreement rejected.
