Renato Sanches is edging closer to completing a move to Milan, with a key meeting reportedly scheduled for next week.
The Rossoneri have been closely linked to the 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder for a while now and it’s clear that Paolo Maldini believes the Lille man to be the perfect fit for Stefano Pioli’s squad.
Contracted to the French side until 2023, this summer is the perfect time to pick up the former Bayern Munich man.
As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, the deal to bring Sanches to Milan is nearing completion and the two parties are now working on the final details.
The transfer fee is expected to be worth around €30m and a meeting has been scheduled for next week in an attempt to close things out.
The 24-year-old Sanches has scored two goals and provided five assists in 25 Ligue 1 appearances this season for Lille, missing a number of games at the start of the campaign due to a meniscal injury.
