Milan can sign Chelsea’s Ziyech on one condition

Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech has emerged as one of Milan‘s primary targets for the summer and the Rossoneri can secure his services on one condition.

The Morocco international is willing to leave Stamford Bridge where he’s struggled for consistency and the Serie A champions are among the clubs monitoring him. Chelsea are open to selling the versatile winger who is not part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans. The Blues could even agree to loan the player as long as the deal comes with an option or obligation to buy.

According to multiple sources, the Diavoli have been in talks with the player’s agent, informing him about their interest in the 29-year-old and their desire to get him on an initial loan deal.

However, Calciomercato.com and Gazzetta maintain that no agreement has yet been reached between Milan and Chelsea or the player. The two clubs need to agree on the transfer fee and, most importantly, the Serie A giants must negotiate a new salary for the ex-Ajax star who gets circa €6m at Stamford Bridge.

If Milan manage to get the green light from the player, then they will likely find an agreement with Chelsea, who are open to selling. Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio is also an option for the Rossoneri. Like Ziyech, the Spain international can play as an attacking midfielder or a right winger.
