French newspaper L’Equipe claims Milan saw their €15m offer for defender Mohamed Simakan rejected by RC Strasbourg.
According to the report, the proposal was made on December 23 for €15m including various bonuses and add-ons.
The asking price is believed to be closer to €20m and the Rossoneri face competition from Chelsea and OGC Nice for his signature.
Milan remain the favourites and Simakan is reported to be interested in the transfer to San Siro.
