Milan won their friendly match 6-0 against Gennaro Gattuso’s Sion FC in a party atmosphere at San Siro.
The Swiss side paid a visit this evening for a friendly game that allowed Gattuso to salute his fans, as entrance to the stadium was free.
The Rossoneri won 6-0 with Bojan Krkic bagging a brace, plus goals from Bakary Traorè, Robinho, youth team player De Feo and a Kolloli own goal.
After celebrating the goal with his teammates, Robinho also ran over to embrace Gattuso.
“It was a good test and helped us see those players who haven’t had as much room,” Coach Massimiliano Allegri told Milan Channel.
“I was very pleased to see Gattuso again, especially in his new role as a player-manager. Sion played well in the first half and he has everything it takes to do well in this profession.
“Now we have two days to rest before we can start focusing on Chievo. There are nine games left and we are ending on a high, so must continue to push in order to maintain third place or even improve it.”
