While Milan are increasing the bid for AZ Alkmaar midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, they reportedly won’t do the same for Samuel Chukwueze at Villarreal and Valencia’s Yunus Musah.

The Diavolo started pre-season training yesterday and are still trying to rebuild the squad after a transformative summer.

They have signed Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea and Christian Pulisic should arrive tomorrow for his medical, while they have improved their offer for Reijnders.

However, the directors are set to draw the line when it comes to other transfer targets, as they refuse to be drawn beyond their valuation of the players.

According to Calciomercato.com’s Milan specialist reporter Daniele Longo, they will not submit a new bid after the €13m plus bonuses for Valencia midfielder Musah.

The USMNT man was already linked with West Ham United, Sassuolo, AS Monaco and Inter.

The Rossoneri are also backing away from Chukwueze, refusing to reach the €35m asking price set by Villarreal, especially as his contract with them only runs to June 2024.

It is reported the maximum offer for the Nigerian will reach €30m including add-ons.
