Milan have reportedly reignited their interest in Keita Baldé Diao, but are only offering Lazio players in exchange.

The Senegal international has handed in a medical certificate to excuse himself from training, and his contract with the Biancocelesti expires next summer.

His preferred destination is Juventus, but their first offer, believed to be €15m, was rejected and so far no higher bid has been made.

The Senegal international has handed in a medical certificate to excuse himself from training, and his contract with the Biancocelesti expires next summer.

His preferred destination is Juventus, but their first offer, believed to be €15m, was rejected and so far no higher bid has been made.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, there is also interest from Inter and Monaco, with the latter offering €19m, a figure which Aquile President Claudio Lotito still considers to be too low.

In addition, it’s not clear if Keita would accept a move to the principality, as it appears he wants to stay in Italy.

The newspaper believes Milan have also rekindled their interest in the forward, having failed to get him in the deal which took Lucas Biglia to San Siro.

However, the Rossoneri aren’t offering money but rather an exchange involving M’Baye Niang and Gabriel Paletta.

That could prove difficult though, as Keita already rejected the Diavolo and Niang is pushing to join Torino, with more talks scheduled for today.
