Milan have reportedly reopened talks for Gremio and Brazil winger Everton Soares.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Angel Correa remains Milan’s top target, but they have yet to meet Atletico Madrid’s valuation, which is in excess of €50m.

Consequently, Di Marzio claims that while the Rossoneri remain hopeful a deal can be agreed for Correa, they have momentarily checked back in for Everton.

The 23-year-old starred for Brazil at Copa America and was courted by the Diavolo’s ex-sporting director Leonardo, prior to his return to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the Sky Sport Italia journalist warns his ownership structure and Gremio’s demands of €40m make a transfer difficult, especially with less than a week until the deadline.

The structure of his playing rights is particularly complex because they are owned by three separate entities.
