Milan were reportedly bewitched by Ruben Loftus-Cheek in their recent Champions League clashes with Chelsea and have started exploring a possible deal.

The 26-year-old Englishman played the full 90 minutes of Chelsea’s 3-0 win in West London last week and came off the bench to play half an hour in the 2-0 win in San Siro, putting in good shifts in both games. The Rossoneri were impressed with what they saw and an idea is forming in Lombardy.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara approached the Chelsea management to explore a possible deal for Loftus-Cheek in the upcoming January transfer window.

The two clubs have an excellent relationship and they’ll meet in the winter to discuss multiple deals, including the Rafael Leao situation.

Loftus-Cheek is contracted to the Blues until 2024 and currently doesn’t seem likely to pen a new deal.
