Milan are again looking to Chelsea for their new striker and reportedly hoping to pick up Christian Pulisic or Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The Rossoneri have been short-staffed in attack all season with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Divock Origi and Charles De Ketelaere struggling with injuries and poor form.

According to Calciomercato.com, they hope to build on a good rapport with Chelsea, having signed Olivier Giroud from them for just €1m in 2021.

The ideal reinforcement would be Loftus-Cheek, but with a €30m asking price and plenty of competition, that seems to be beyond their budget right now.

A more likely candidate also for his role is Pulisic, who can play on either wing or as a False 9 if needed.

The 24-year-old United States international is only under contract until June 2024 and has contributed just one goal and two assists in 21 competitive appearances this season.

Chelsea have just spent a total €130m to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk and Noni Madueke in January, so ought to start whittling down the existing squad.

  1. This article makes little sense to me. It talks about stikers but neither Loftus-Cheek nor Pulisic are strikers.

They are both good players but we don’t really need Loftus-Cheek. Pulisic is welcome and would be a huge upgrade though.
