PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi claims the Ligue 1 giants won’t make investments in the January transfer window, bringing relief to Inter and Milan who will continue talks to extend with Milan Skriniar and Rafael Leao.

Both players have been linked with a move to the Parc Des Princes in the winter transfer window, Skriniar is a long-time target of PSG and his current deal with Inter runs out in the summer.

However, the Nerazzurri are confident of reaching an agreement with the Slovakia international, extending his stay at the club in the coming weeks.

“I don’t think we’ll make new purchases in January, we don’t need new players because we’ve found the right spirit and we don’t want to change this balance,” Al Khelaifi told L’Equipe.

PSG are also tracking Milan star Leao, but if Al-Khelaifi is to be believed, the Ligue 1 champions won’t make their move in the winter transfer window.

Chelsea and Manchester City remain interested in the Portuguese star, but the Rossoneri are willing to extend his contract expiring in June 2024.

Leao has recently spoken about negotiations with the Rossoneri saying that the first meeting with Paolo Maldini already took place and more will follow in January after the World Cup.
