There is bad news for Milan and France, as it’s reported Mike Maignan suffered a new injury setback to his calf just as he was preparing for his comeback this weekend.

The shot-stopper picked up a calf strain during international duty last month and was ruled out of some big games, including both Champions League showdowns with Chelsea.

He had said when receiving his award at the Gran Gala Del Calcio, the Italian version of the PFA Awards, as goalkeeper of the year on Monday evening that he was fully recovered and ready to return to the field this weekend against Monza.

However, Sky Sport Italia now claim this afternoon that Maignan has suffered a relapse in training and is having further tests to ascertain the extent of the damage.

It could be a big problem not only for the Rossoneri, but also France, as Maignan was set to be named in the 2022 World Cup squad by Didier Deschamps.

  1. Man, too much good news. MM out for longer, we are struggling to figure out who really represents Leao never mind make a deal. And a bunch of halfwits pull a home invasion on Theo’s wife and infant child.

    What’s next?

  2. Its all a trick. He’s dodging milans games and saving himself for france world cup

Tata is terrible. It would be more use having a sack of potatoes on the goal line than him. Milan will struggle to end of year now.

  3. @ Vogel

That’s absurd and unnecessary. Mike has shown that he is a serious professional. Have some respect.
