Milan and Fiorentina are back in the running for Real Madrid benchwarmer Luka Jovic, according to Spanish reports, while Eintracht Frankfurt are another possibility.

The striker turns 24 next month and had been a major target over the summer, with Inter also interested, but he decided to remain with the Merengues.

That proved unwise, with only seven appearances between La Liga and Champions League this season, for a grand total of just 95 minutes of football.

Now Mundo Deportivo reports a loan switch in January is very likely, with Serie A again a potential destination.

Milan and Fiorentina are seeking reinforcements in attack, especially if the Viola lose Dusan Vlahovic.

Jovic spent last season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt from January to June and could attempt to replicate the experience, where he scored four goals and provided one assist in 18 Bundesliga appearances.

There is a contract with Real Madrid until June 2025, so a loan would not be an issue.

  1. I quite honestly think Vlahovic would we wise to pick Milan. The team is forming, Kessie will hopefully leave in January (seeing as the salary he’s holding out for is insane) and there is a young, attacking team being built with a figurehead the missing part. Giraud will have a few more years in him, Zlatan maybe one more – What better trio to train with and then rotate with in a long season of 3 competitions?

Salary? With Kessie 4.5 mill gone, Donnas 6mill gone and a yearly increase as Zlatans saey falls off seems financially viable for the club. Trophy would be plentiful the next 10 years.

But of course, he’d be desirable to anyone and would fit in practically anywhere. But what a project he could slot into top of the table and looking in good shape before their second CL season with the new, young group…

As a fan, I can only dream

  2. 1. No Jovic to Milan please! He is a one season wonder.

    2. @Vinnie do you honestly think Milan will spend a minimum of €50M on Vlahovic?
He will go to either Real or one of those idiot big spending EPL teams.

  3. For clarification; EPL means English Petro legeau, or? genuinely asking.

Vlahovic would be a dream signing, for reasons Vinnie points out above, but ACM don’t have the money and if they had, they wouldn’t use them.
