Everton and Milan are battling it out for Fiorentina and Croatia midfielder Milan Badelj.

The 27-year-old impressed with his performances at Euro 2016 and his agent made it very clear he wishes to move on.

His contract is due to expire in June 2018 and the representative declared there will not be an extension.

Sky Sport Italia claim Milan and Everton are both very interested in Badelj.

His price-tag is in the region of €10m, but could rise sharply if the two clubs start a bidding war.

The Rossoneri should have the upper hand, as Badelj would reunite with his old Fiorentina Coach Vincenzo Montella.

Everton seem to consider him an alternative to first choice Axel Witsel, who is close to Napoli in a €25m deal with Zenit.

Roma have also expressed their admiration for Badelj, but currently lack the financial clout to fight with these two clubs.
