Milan and Davide Calabria sent messages to wish Gianluigi Donnarumma ‘all the best’, after the goalkeeper left the Rossoneri when his contract expired in June.

The Italy goalkeeper is set for a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer and arrives after being named the Player of the Tournament at the Euros.

Donnarumma was decisive when Italy lifted the UEFA Euro 2020, beating both Spain and England in penalty shootouts on their way to success.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper didn’t reach an agreement to extend his deal with the Diavolo and leaves moves to the French giants as a free agent.

Donnarumma, who kept three clean sheets at the Euros, leaves Milan after 251 competitive games and 88 clean sheets.

“Dear Gigio, thanks for everything you have given during the years with the Rossoneri,” Milan wrote in a message to the shot stopper.

“We wish you the best for your career.”

Calabria replied to a post on Instagram from Donnarumma: “A you already know, I’m going to miss you, my friend. Good luck.”
