Milan and Benevento have set their sights on Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic following his loan spell with Hertha Berlin.

According to Tuttmercatoweb, both the Rossoneri and newly-promoted side from Serie B are keeping a close eye on his situation.

The 24-year-old joined Liverpool from Red Star Belgrade in January 2016, but has mainly gone out on loan deals to Cardiff and since 2018 to Hertha Berlin.

He notched up 31 competitive games for Hertha Berlin last season, scoring four goals and providing two assists.

It’s reported Benevento are at a more advanced stage of the negotiations, having offered to take Grujic on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

A clause would also have the move made permanent if Benevento avoided relegation in their first season back in Serie A.
