Milan and Barcelona have reportedly approached Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen, but it is likely he will extend his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The Rossoneri are seeking a centre-back in the January transfer window after losing Simon Kjaer for the rest of the season following knee ligament surgery.

Christensen would reunite with former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori, whose career has flourished in Italy since moving to San Siro.

Barcelona are also interested in the idea of picking the 25-year-old Denmark international up in the summer as a free agent, according to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

However, the same source insists that Chelsea are confident Christensen will sign the new contract to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond June 2022.

He is somewhat frustrated at the lack of regular playing time under Thomas Tuchel and has made 15 competitive appearances this season between the Premier League, Champions League and European Super Cup, contributing one goal.

  1. Let’s be honest, we’re not in that market right now. Terrific player, but a highly unrealistic target. That especially as Ruediger is most likely off to Real madrid.

  2. After tonight Rosario it would be better if you look within your means. Who would want to go there looking at how a Liverpool C team controlled and still defeated you. Nat Phillips enough said lol.

  3. @wingerboy

hehe. And which hell-hole are you communicating to us from? Is football even played there?
