Zvezdan Terzic has confirmed that Red Star have agreed to sell Marko Lazetic to Milan, and that Fiorentina made an offer for the teenager.

The Rossoneri recently submitted a €5m offer for the 18-year-old Serbian forward and the Red Star CEO has confirmed that it was accepted. Personal terms now need to be agreed between the Milanese side and the teenager’s entourage.

Speaking with Telegraf.rs, Terzic first discussed the interest around Europe for the 18-year-old Lazetic.

“There has been interest from big clubs for Lazetic, we have had offers from Zenit, RB Salzburg, Fiorentina. These are indications that repay the huge investments in our youth sector, which costs us €3m a year.”

The Red Star CEO then confirmed that a deal has been reached with Milan regarding the Serbian forward.

“The transfer of Lazetic to Milan is an indication of the good work done over the years. Yesterday we agreed everything with Milan, now I expect Lazetic to negotiate his conditions through his agents and sign the contract.

“For Red Star it is a great recognition to have one of their own players at Milan after 30 years.”

Milan will meet with Lazetic’s entourage tomorrow as they look to agree personal terms. Once that’s finished, only the final details will remain before the Serbian teenager is officially part of the Rossoneri.

The 18-year-old Lazetic has shown potential in his 14 Super Liga Srbije appearances this campaign, scoring one goal in that time.

  1. Terzic will instantly get labelled ‘The next Savicevic’ but if he lets the pressure get to him will probably end up ‘The next Kalinic’.

And yes I know Savicevic is Montenegrin and Kalinic is Croatian. Don’t ruin the joke.

  2. HAHAH Cracking me up Vogel! Not to worry as you clarified everything well. 🙂

I even heard he could be the next Vlahovic…

Whoever he turns out to be I hope he does well for us.

  3. He is the same age as Roback. Why not give Roback the opportunity to play? Can’t be much worse than having giroud on the pitch, and having to resort to maignan playing hoof ball to him.

  4. Roback refuses to perform consistently in the Primavera, and has not progressed well when he had chances to practice with the first Team. There are reasons why even Maldini would get game time, when Roback would not.

  5. @Jake.

refuses to perform? hahahahahahah. Time to watch a primavera game or two. god, this page and part timers is nauseating. Maldini doesn’t play in his position. ma daiiiiii
