Milan have agreed basic terms with Girondins de Bordeaux for midfielder Yacine Adli at €10m including bonuses, it’s reported in Italy.

According to Calciomercato.com, the two clubs worked out the details today and struck a deal.

The Rossoneri are due to pay €10m including performance-related bonuses for the 21-year-old talent.

It becomes even more important after news Franck Kessie sustained a muscular lesion to the flexor, which would keep him out for several weeks.

There had also been interest in Adli from other clubs such as Lille, but Milan were always the favourites.

A product of the PSG youth academy, Adli joined Bordeaux in January 2019 for €5.5m.

He emerged as their first choice because of his versatility, able to work in a deeper midfield role or as a more advanced trequartista behind the strikers.

This allows him to fill in for either Bennacer or Brahim Diaz, depending on the situation.

  1. Good news. Please @Paulo kindly look into Rafa Mir as a future striker to understudy Ibra and Oliver too. Also Draxler for the attacking midfield role.
