La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Milan‘s transfer budget for the 2024 summer transfer window will be €100m which will be used to sign at least four players.

New Milan coach Paulo Fonseca will have €100m available to make new signings this summer, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

According to the report, incomes from the Champions League and the permanent sale of Charles De Ketelaere to Atalanta for over €20m have allowed the Rossoneri to set aside this amount of money for new purchases.

The sum will naturally increase if Milan sell any player this summer.

Milan linked with Brighton and Tottenham defenders with €100m available

Gazzetta reports that the Rossoneri must sign a new centre-forward to replace Olivier Giroud, plus a centre-back, a right-back and a defensive midfielder.

Bologna‘s Joshua Zirkzee is the primary target in attack and has a release clause of €40m.

For the defensive midfielder role, the priority is Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana, which would cost around €25m, according to Gazzetta.

The pink paper adds that Milan have set their sights on ex-Fiorentina centre-back Igor, now at Brighton. The Brazilian moved to England for circa €17m last summer.

Tottenham‘s Emerson Royal is the leading candidate for the right-back role, but the Rossoneri are unwilling to match Spurs’ €30m asking price and hope the defender’s price tag will decrease during the summer.
