Sinisa Mihajlovic wants to see an ambitious Bologna against Spezia and insists Italy can qualify for the World Cup.

The Rossoblu visit Spezia at the Stadio Picco tomorrow.

It kicks off at 14.00 UK time.

“The defeat against Venezia was a part of our path, we need to improve, but we’ve taken the right way,” Mihajlovic said at a press conference.

“We need to be more clinical up front, Spezia know how to create trouble for us, but we need to be ambitious,” he continued.

“We’ve lost many points this season. I always ask my players to think about our opponents and if they will be ahead of us in the standings at the end of the season. If not, then it’s a game that we have to win.

“There were refereeing errors against Genoa and Udinese, but the rest of the points we have thrown away it’s our fault. We can’t be satisfied with what we do and think big. Our target is to stay in the top 10, we must be ambitious.”

But is it easier to achieve their target or see Italy qualify for the World Cup?

“Both us and the Azzurri have a chance to reach their goals,” the former defender concluded.
