The former Napoli Coach would have to arrive quickly though, as you Primavera Coach Federico Coppitelli doesn’t have a UEFA Pro Licence, so would need special dispensation to take charge of Saturday’s Bologna game.

If confirmed, it would be the first time since March 2011 that Granata President Urbano Cairo has made a change during a season, when Franco Lerda was dismissed and replaced by Giuseppe Papadopulo.

On that occasion the change lasted just 11 days before Lerda was brought back, before being sacked again after failing to reach the play-offs in Serie B.
