Sinisa Mihajlovic has turned down the opportunity to become Inter boss after committing his future to Fiorentina.
The tactician held a Press conference in Tuscany this afternoon in response to the mass speculation that he could replace Leonardo at San Siro.
Although he did admit that he was spoken to by his former club, he insists he wasn't tempted to quit the Viola.
"It's true that I was contacted by Inter a few days ago and they asked about the chances of me going there," he stated.

"It's true that I was contacted by Inter a few days ago and they asked about the chances of me going there," he stated.
"I then called [Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo] Corvino and I informed him of the Inter call. I've always told Corvino that I wanted to stay at Fiorentina for many reasons.
"I behaved correctly with everyone. I didn't hide anything from anyone. You can doubt Sinisa as a Coach, but no one can doubt me as a man and that is what matters.
"I've always been serene because I instantly told the club of my intentions. I was transparent with Fiorentina as they have always behaved well towards me."
Mihajlovic was appointed by the Viola a year ago and he still has 12 months left to run on his contract.
"I want to reiterate my desire to stay at Fiorentina," he added. "I don't like to leave places without demonstrating my worth. Fiorentina are a serious club and my family are happy in Florence.
"I thank the club who over the past year have treated me very well. They never placed my position into question, always showing me faith.
"I never had any doubts about staying. I hope to remain for many more years. I ask the fans to believe in me, the club and the side that will be created. I hope there will be no more talk of Inter."
Mihajlovic's refusal, to be added to those of Marcelo Bielsa and Fabio Capello, increases Gian Piero Gasperini's chances of getting the job in Milan.
