Sinisa Mihajlovic is undergoing chemotherapy, but that hasn’t stopped him giving Bologna players the hair-dryer treatment. “You could hear him shouting through the wall.”
The Coach was diagnosed with leukaemia last month and therefore had to remain in a clinic during his team’s pre-season preparations.
He has remained in contact with staff and squad via video live-streaming and did not hold back on his team talk after a friendly defeat to FC Koln.

“We were having dinner in another room, but you could hear him shouting through the wall,” a Bologna employee told La Repubblica newspaper.
“It’s a good sign, it means the Coach is in strong form.”
There are reports the Serbian tactician has lost a lot of weight since starting the treatment, but he is determined to continue working and keep himself in the thick of the action.
“He was furious after the defeat to Koln and he told us that very clearly,” confessed midfielder Roberto Soriano.
“The best thing we can do is to make him proud of us, so we’ve got to give something more, each and every one.”
It seemed to work, because Bologna hit back with a friendly victory over Schalke 04.
