Sinisa Mihajlovic has confirmed he wants to return to Italian football when he ends his stint as Serbia boss.

“That is certainly my desire,” the 44-year-old told FC Inter News.

“When I’m no longer the Serbia Coach, whether that be in a month, two months or three, four or fives years’ time, I hope to work again in Italy.

Sinisa Mihajlovic has confirmed he wants to return to Italian football when he ends his stint as Serbia boss.

“When I’m no longer the Serbia Coach, whether that be in a month, two months or three, four or fives years’ time, I hope to work again in Italy.

“Do I have a particular side in mind? I don’t know,” he laughed. “The important thing is that I continue working.”

The former player has recently been linked with a possible move to Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”3″>Sampdoria given the present struggles of Delio Rossi.

The former Roma, Sampdoria, Inter and Lazio” data-scaytid=”7″>Lazio player has bossed Bologna, Catania and Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”9″>Fiorentina in his coaching career to date.

Mihajlovic was appointed as Serbia boss in May 2012. Serbia failed to qualify for the World Cup after finishing third in Group A behind Belgium and Croatia.
