Sinisa Mihajlovic was furious with the referee and VAR after Bologna‘s 1-1 draw against Udinese: ‘We’ve already lost four points for this.’

The Rossoblu picked up a draw at the Dacia Arena despite being one man up for more than one hour due to Roberto Pereyra’s red card in the first half.

Musa Barrow gave Bologna the lead after 67 minutes, but Beto levelled the scores with a late goal.

Mihajlovic complained about Udinese’s equaliser as he believes his goalkeeper Lucasz Skorupski had been fouled by Rodrigo Becao.

“I don’t understand why, if one is sent off, the referee has to compensate for all decisions?” Mihajlovic told DAZN.

“Skorupski couldn’t jump because of Becao. The goalkeeper can’t be touched inside the penalty area,” the coach continued.

“I do not understand why VAR did not intervene. Maybe the referees will be suspended, but we’ve lost four points for this, two against Genoa and two today.”

Udinese’s goal was not the only reason why Mihajlovic was unhappy.

“Look at Svanberg’s yellow card,” he added.

“I know how things work and for that reason, I had to replace him. How is that a yellow card? How is that a yellow card?

“That being said, it’s our fault if we didn’t win,” Mihajlovic concluded.

“We should have made the most of the chances we created.”
