Milan Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic wants the club to ‘focus’ on Alessio Romagnoli, and believes Zlatan Ibrahimovic could bring the Scudetto.

The Rossoneri have been heavily linked with both players this summer, and the Serbian boss seemed to strike a different tone to CEO Adriano Galliani when asked about the transfer strategy.

“Romagnoli? Clearly we’re focused on him,” Mihajlovic admitted in a Press conference ahead of the Audi Cup.

“I need a left-footed player who knows my set-up.

“If Ibrahimovic came in, we’d be serious candidates to win the Scudetto. He’s the type of player who can swing the balance in our favour.

“Our goal is to finish in the top three in Italy, it will be difficult because other teams have strengthened, but we have a great squad and we’ve been working well for a month.

“We played very well against Inter and Real Madrid, and I’m sure we’ll continue that.”
