Bologna and Sinisa Mihajlovic met today to erase all doubts and the Serbian will continue at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Rumours in Italian media had linked Mihajlovic several clubs in the top division, including the positions at Inter and Lazio, but Il Resto del Carlino has now confirmed the coach will continue at the Rossoblu.

The newspaper reports the coach and managers met today to dispel all doubts about their future together and plan for next season.

Mihajlovic has a contract with the Emilian side until June 2023 and met with the club to plan the retreat and the transfer market.

Bologna finished 12th in Serie A 2020-21 and the former Milan coach will aim to bounce back and return to the top half of Italian football, as he guided the Rossoblu to 10th in his first season with the club in 2018-19.

The former defender has won 110 of his 328 Serie A games as a coach until now and has an average of 1.35 points per game in the top flight.
