Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic claims the Rossoblu ‘learnt a lesson’ in their 6-1 defeat against Inter last week.

The Rossoblu take to the pitch tomorrow, hosting Genoa at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

“We knew what we had to do, but every game teaches you something,” Mihajlovic said at a press conference.

“The game against Inter taught us that if you enter the pitch without the right attitude, intensity and concentration, you can lose against anyone. Having said that, you must live everything with balance and continually learn.

“We always have the same mentality, then it’s up to our opponents,” he added.

Davide Ballardini’s Genoa have collected just three points so far.

“Genoa are a good team, but we must win these kinds of games if we want to stay in the top 10,” Mihajlovic said.

“We must not take anything for granted, there is a great balance this season. We know what to do, we’ve already done it and we must do it again.

“Against Inter, we paid for every little mistake. It can happen to concede six goals, I don’t think it’s a debacle, but just something that can occur.

“We are not happy, but now we must focus on Genoa.

“Life is always a problem and you have to face it to solve it. There are good and less good moments, now it takes serenity and desire to be united to move forward.”

Marko Arnautovic is expected to start for the Rossoblu.

“He played three games with his national team and he can do the same here. We know that it must get in shape and the tight fixture list can be a further problem.

“As long as he doesn’t get injured, we’ll handle him. Before the game against Inter, there was a death in his family, but he wanted to play anyway despite not being mentally present.”

  1. Sinisa is not up to snuff to coach in Serie A. He is out-coached week in-week out. Maybe back in Serbia in the 10th division or something is more suited to you Sinisa…
