This is a head-to-head for European qualification, as only three points separate fourth from fifth.

“If my players have even half the rage I’ve got, then we’ll be difficult to beat,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“On Saturday evening I was disappointed after the 0-0 with Cesena. On Sunday I was furious. We threw away two points and would’ve had one foot in the Europa League.

“Nobody else in Italy plays with four strikers like we did in that game. We’ll see whether we will use that system again on Sunday.

“For great targets and great achievements we need great courage. This will help us to win and take that place in Europe.

“We watched back last year’s game against Napoli. We had played well, but they were smart to make the most of their scoring opportunities.

“We go into the Stadio San Paolo without fear. Anyone who is afraid can stay at home. I’ve called the whole squad up to make the trip, but I can always send them back if they’re not in the right frame of mind.”

Samp will come up against their former player Manolo Gabbiadini, who was sold to Napoli in January.

“He’s a good lad and a great player. I am happy for him, but tomorrow I hope he has his boots on back to front!” joked Mihajlovic.

Of course, the Coach has also been heavily linked with a move to the Stadio San Paolo for next season as a replacement for Rafa Benitez.

“I have been in football for 30 years, so I know the newspapers have to fill their pages with something, but I have not signed any contract with Napoli.

“The stories that emerged showed a lack of respect for me, for the team, the fans and even for Napoli. It’s just paper talk.”
