Sinisa Mihajlovic believes Torino are on course to achieve their objectives this season despite their indifferent form.

The Granata are currently tenth in Serie A, having won just four of their 13 matches so far this season, while Andrea Belotti’s form remains a concern.

Speaking ahead of today’s trip to Milan, the Toro Coach argued that none of his side’s rivals for European qualification have stronger squads.

“The targets of the teams are different,” Mihajlovic told a Press conference.

Speaking ahead of today’s trip to Milan, the Toro Coach argued that none of his side’s rivals for European qualification have stronger squads.

“The targets of the teams are different,” Mihajlovic told a Press conference.

“Torino’s is to fight to get into the Europa League and by winning, we’ll be seventh and in position to qualify.

“However, to me it seems Milan have different aims. But I don’t look at other teams.

“We could have done more, but of the teams of our level only Sampdoria are performing above expectations this season.

“But I don’t think they are stronger than us. When we played them we deserved to win, not just to draw, while Fiorentina and Atalanta are behind us in the table and Milanonly have one more point.”

In spite of this, the Serb conceded that Toro do have room to improve.

“I’m not satisfied, but we have great room for improvement and I’m sure we’ll get that enthusiasm back that we had at the start.”
