Sinisa Mihajlovic confirms Torino will make changes for tomorrow’s Udinese game, but not with the Juventus match in mind.
The Granata face their city rivals in the Derby della Mole on Saturday, a quick turnaround after tomorrow night’s trip to face the Zebrette.
“There will be changes, but not so much for Saturday’s game but because I have a lot of players in the squad,” Mihajlovic explained in his pre-match Press conference.

“There will be changes, but not so much for Saturday’s game but because I have a lot of players in the squad,” Mihajlovic explained in his pre-match Press conference.
“I’ve told my players if they start pulling out of challenges trying to save themselves for Saturday then they won’t play anyway. Those who are given space will have to prove they deserve it.
“We must only think about Udinese, after that there will be time to think about the derby.
“For me the most important game is always the next one. This is a complicated, difficult game and we need to try and bring the result home.
“If we win tomorrow then obviously we’ll face the derby in an even better position, and that would make us more calm. Of course, every derby is an unknown.
“We’re thinking about tomorrow though, where it will take a mature team game, that of a real team, for 90 minutes.”
The Granata are aiming for the Europa League this season, and Mihajlovic was asked where his team stand.
“We have four points more than last year. We’ve improved at the back, you didn’t see that in our last game but we’ve only conceded three goals.
“However, we’re still lacking a bit of ruthlessness, cynicism in taking our chances, as well as defending our own goal.
“To try and get into Europe we need 12 or 15 points more than last year. Right now we have four points more, and we deserved more than that, a lot came down to VAR.
“In Bologna we had a good goal disallowed and against Sampdoria there was a penalty on [Adem] Ljajic. If they’d used the VAR they’d have given us it, and maybe then we’d have won.
“However, I’m convinced we can overhaul some teams that finished ahead of us last season. There’s still a long way to go, we’ll see where we can go.”
